I had a plumbing leak, and now the foam couch cushion is wet… does anyone know the best way to dry it?

Yuck… our couch got soaked a couple of days ago, and the only thing that hasn’t dried are the large foam cushions (the ones that you sit on)… they feel dry, but when I apply pressure (like by sitting on them) I can feel that they are still wet in the center. They’re much to large to put in my dryer, and I can’t figure out any way to get them dry. Anybody have any great ideas? They’re going to start getting musty soon…

Try putting several layers of towels under and over them on the floor or another hard surface, then walk on them barefooted. That may squeeze out some of the water. Then stand them on edge if possible and run a fan so the air goes across both sides or put them outside if the weather allows.
