Basalt Stone
What type of drill bit would I use for stones?
I have a number of smooth basalt stones I would like to drill a channel into, in order to use them as vases…or to thread them on rods for garden statuary….what would be the best drill bit to use?
(I would ask in the store, but the store with the best prices doesn’t have a soul to ask that would know)
Thanks all.
Masonery drill bit in a bench drill preferably. Wear goggles and have the stones clamped so they don’t move.
