healthy tips?

i have a problem with my face they all now a lots of pimples but bfore its just a little now they become more and moreand im afraid to consult to a dermatologists because its very expensive and needs a lot of check-up i just want to used a very cheap and good product for this. can you share me some advice on what to do and what do i need to use with this kind of pimples?is maxi peel ok?or how much is the pro active by the way thanks.

Proactive works but is expensive, if I remember right it was about $55 a month.

Walgreens has a copycat product called Klear Active and it’s exactly the same as Proactive but costs less. About $20. It’s what I used for a long time.

However, I’ve found other products work just as well, but you do need to do 5 things.

First. You need to use a mild facial soap, something with benzoyl peroxide in it, preferably 2.5%. 10% will dry your skin out and cause breakouts.

Second: You need to exfoliate using a rough facial pad to remove dead skin cellls from your face. You can do this with the facial soap.

Third. You need to use a toner (the green bottle in Proactive). I believe it’s just witchhazel with some fragrance in it. Your best bet is to look for an astringent facial product in the acne section of the store.

Fourth. Use a mild benzoyl facial lotion which you put on after the astringent dries. Again, it must be a mild one 2.5% or less. 10% is bad.

Fifth. NEVER touch your face with your hands. Never, unless you’re washing it.

If you use the lotions twice a day and exfoliate once a day, the acne will improve a LOT. You can save a ton of money if you use the generic products such as Equate at Walmart. They all use the same basic ingredients.

If your skin drys out and flakes during the day, use a regular facial creme (the beauty type) and wash your hands before putting it on.
